Kenilworth, NJ - Benedict-Miller LLC adds a new band-saw to supplement existing production capabilities. With increased blade speeds and a fully automated computer system, the new saw improves quality and increases capacity at Benedict-Miller LLC for cutting stocked 4130 AQ and 4340 AQ bars. The added capacity also offers more toll-processing opportunities for customer owned materials requiring burr-free saw cutting.
The Amada band-saw is capable of cutting .5 inch up to 10 inch diameter square or round bars, tube, and pipe. It can also process up to 12 inch wide rectangle pipe, tube, and bar as well as I-beams. Wide flange, angles, and channels can also be processed with the new equipment.
