Bend Rebar, Stretch Profits with the Jimmy

Bend rebar the easy way.

The Jimmy hydraulic rebar benders from Multiquip let contractors precisely shape #4 to #11 rebar on the work site. The seven models in the series do the job in seconds and allow the operator to easily bend rebar after it's been placed in concrete. Each durable unit completes the task with minimal effort while generating maximum return on investment.

These units will bend rebar up to 180 degrees and they're ideal for applications including offset bends or doglegs, 90-degree hook, 180-degree cane hook, straightening, and stirrup and tie hook. Minimum bend is from 5 to 14 inches (12.7-35.6 centimeters).

The portable Jimmy rebar benders range in weight from 22 to 110 pounds (10-50 kilograms) and a compact design allows simple bending in space-restricted environments. A separate 1 1/8-horsepower, 10,000 psi drive motor, model JPU1, supplies the power and it comes standard with a 25-foot (7.5 meters) long remote control for added versatility on the job.

All seven models in the series use an ACI-approved bending wheel to deliver accurate bends. Simplified caisson and column construction let the operator quickly remove the collar from a column base and the Jimmy rebar benders' low-maintenance design ensures years of dependable, productive service.
