The product, called the AVERY DENNISON(tm) AP 5.4, is designed for high-quality bar code tag and label printing in industrial, apparel, retail and other applications. At a first-quarter 2003 list price of $1,595, the printer costs significantly less than most competing benchtop thermal label printers. Built-in Zebra ZPL Emulation The AVERY DENNISON(tm) AP 5.4 Printer features built-in Zebra ZPL emulation, ensuring compatibility with many currently installed thermal label printers and devices. This feature allows simple, plug-in conversions from Zebra Z4M printers and other Zebra products.
