Milpitas, CA - February 3, 2003- A&D announces the SBR Series Bench Scales. The SBR scales were designed for Retail Point-of-Sale and Shipping Manifest Systems yet because of their low-price, succeed as excellent general-purpose scales for applications like shipping and receiving.
The SBR Series comes standard with a user-selectable RS-232C interface that is compatible with all major Point-of-Sale and Shipping Manifest Systems, including those using Mettler-Toledo, Fairbanks, Weightronix/NCI, Cardinal-Detecto and CAS data string formats. All models have rugged heavy duty construction and easy-to-read LED displays.
SBR Scales are available in 30 x 0.01 lb, 70 x 0.05 lb and 150 x 0.05 lb models, meeting NIST legal-for-trade requirements. Non-legal-for-trade capacities offer resolution as precise as 0.005 lb.
SB-30 and SB-70 models incorporate external weight displays attached with a 6' cable. SB-T models include display towers. The SB-150 (150lb) has an integral display in the base. All 30 and 70 pound scales have 10.2" x 13" stainless steel weigh pans and the 150 pound scale has a larger 13" x 13" stainless steel weigh pan with roller bearing option. Free shipping manifest software is also included with every SB-150.
