New Blueline 1 Belt Driven Slides From Techno-Isel Features An HTD Curvilinear Belt Drive for Positive Non-Slip Operation
New Hyde Park, New York - A new belt driven slide from Techno-Isel, identified as the Blueline 1 Series, features lengths up to 2 meters and speeds up to 2.4 meters per second. It can be used for many applications such as dispensing, inspection and parts transfer.
They are available in 17 different lengths from 450 mm to 2,050 mm. The Blueline 1 comes with several types of motor configurations including stepper, servo and no motor. It has a protective plate over the carriage and belt to keep out dirt and debris.
Of special interest is the HTD timing belt drive which features a deep curvilinear profile for more positive non-slip operation and reduced backlash when compared with the conventional trapezoidal tooth profile. This provides greater shear strength and smaller unit pressure per tooth since the area of contact is greater.
