New ZF1 Belt Driven Slide From Techno-Isel Is Designed For Compact Low Cost Automation Projects

New Hyde Park, New York - A new belt driven slide from Techno-Isel, identified as the ZF1 Series, features lengths up to 3 meters and speeds up to 1.5 meters per second. It is designed for low cost automation projects that require linear motion in a small package.

They are available in 13 different lengths from 300 mm to 3,000 mm. The ZF1 comes with several types of motor configurations including NEMA 17 and 23 frame stepper, NEMA 23 frame servo and no motor. Two carriages are offered, a light weight carriage with recirculating ball bearings or an all steel plate with sealed roller bearings. At 30mm wide, the rail has a small foot print making it perfect for applications with minimal floor space.

Of special interest is the HTD timing belt drive which features a deep curvlinear profile for more positive non-slip operation when compared with the conventional trapezoidal tooth profile. This provides greater shear strength and smaller unit pressure per tooth since the area of contact is greater.
