Bellow Couplings compensate for misalignments.

Press Release Summary:

Ecoflex, with stainless steel bellows, have torsional rigidity, zero backlash, and compensate for axial, angular, and lateral misalignment simultaneously. Moment of inertia is very low due to low mass. Couplings offer alternative to beam and helical couplings. Shaft hubs are available in standard sizes in imperial and metric from 3 mm to 1/2 in.

Economy Class Coupling Ecoflex

Taking up the challenge for greater technical demands in modern machine design and construction, R+W has developed the Ecoflex model of Bellow Couplings.

These low cost couplings are manufactured with a stainless steel bellow exhibiting very high torsional rigidity with zero backlash. The most important feature of this design is the fact that the bellow can compensate for axial, angular, and lateral misalignment simultaneously. The moment of inertia is also very low due to its low mass.

Since these couplings are available at a cost far below others in its class, they are finding a broad range of new applications. Where beam and helical couplings were once the only options, Ecoflex couplings are a new alternative that is far more torsionally rigid.

The shaft hubs are available in standard sizes in imperial and metric ranging from 3mm to 1/2in H7.
