Beam Lead PIN Diodes suitable for microstrip circuits.

Press Release Summary:

With switching speeds at 3 ns, SBL2000 beam lead PIN Diodes offer minimal capacitance and resistance. Boasting of high mechanical strength and stability along with operating temperature from -55° C to +150° C, Diodes are suitable for microstrip circuits, attenuators and modulators. Device presents breakdown voltages of 100 V, junction capacitances of 0.02 pF and series resistance of 2.5 Ω at 10 mA.

Original Press Release:

Beam Lead PINs Feature Fast Switching Speeds of 3 ns and Capacitances as Low as 0.02 pF

SemiGen, Inc. (www.semigen.net), an ISO and ITAR registered RF/Microwave assembly, automated PCB manufacturing, and RF Supply Center, now offers a series of Beam Lead PINs, the SBL 2000.

The SBL2000 beam lead PIN diodes feature switching speeds as low as 3 ns with both low capacitance and resistance. SemiGen’s beam lead PINs are optimally designed during assembly for high levels of mechanical strength and stability with an operating temperature ranging from -55° C to +150° C. These PINs come with breakdown voltages as high as 100V, maximum junction capacitances as low as 0.02 pF, and a maximum series resistance as low as 3.0 Ω at 10mA and 2.5 Ω at 10 mA.

These diodes are suitable for microstrip or stripline circuits as well as applications requiring high isolation from a series of mounted diodes such as multi-throw switches, phase shifters, attenuators, and modulators.
