Beach Filters Adds Container Dri II(TM) to Its Humidity Control Offering
Glen Rock, PA, May 30, 2006- Beach Filters announces the addition of Container Dri II® to its desiccant humidity control products. Beach has been in the humidity control business for over 15 years with its 1, 2, & 4 lb. Sta-Dri® clay desiccant pouches for larger spaces. Container Dri II® from Süd Chemie brings a lightweight disposable option to their distributor customers.
Sta-Dri® and Container Dri® II desiccants absorb moisture from the air, preventing rust, mildew and corrosion during storage and shipping. Container Dri® II is a specially designed single-use, adhesive backed desiccant pouch aimed at protecting cargo during shipping by absorbing moisture vapor from the air. It also reduces dew point temperature keeping cargo safe and dry. Container Dri® II absorbs up to three times its weight in moisture, and through an advanced calcium chloride based formula, traps it as a thick, no-spill gel. It is effective in areas of up to 50 cubic feet per pouch and available in single 125 gram pouches and 6 pouches per strip varieties. Sta-Dri® is different. With an inert clay desiccant, Sta-Dri® pouches are ideal for corrosion sensitive uses and longer duration applications with its slower moisture pick-up. They can also be regenerated up to 3 times.
