The DJ-Series battery combines performance and long life with reduced maintenance, providing end users a premium product with low life-cycle cost. Designed using superior technologies from proven C&D products, as well as newly developed design enhancements, the DJ batteries are feature and benefit rich.

Utilizing technologies developed and tested for other highly successful product lines, the DJ is engineered with C&D Powercom's new epoxy post seal design, which has undergone rigorous testing with leak-free results. This technology has been used on C&D Powercom's JC and XTJ since May 2002 without a single reported incident.

The DJ has a narrow jar design for a very compact footprint for up to 40 percent savings in rack space on comparable 100 to 200 Ampere-hour products and built-in grab feature on the jars for ease of handling, saving time and cost during installation. The jar and cover, constructed of flame retardant and high impact strength PVC, gives the DJ batteries unparalleled superiority in safety over comparable flooded products. The new jar-cover seal design for the DJ has undergone extensive lab testing and shows exceptional results with added jar-cover seal integrity.
