Marley Introduces Energy Star Bath Vent/Light
BENNETTSVILLE, SC-Marley Engineered Products introduces the 8000 Bath Ventilation Fan/Light Environmental Series. The ultra-quiet 8000 Series meets ENERGY STAR qualifications while producing 50% more light than conventional fan/light models.
Engineered with highly efficient motors and lighting, the 8000 Series consumes, on average, 65% less energy than comparable fan/light products. Yet, its patented light compartment design provides 50% more direct light, and its powerful plug-in motor with super-quiet blower generates from 60 to 140 CFM with sound ratings from 0.5 to 2.5 SONES.
The designer-styled 8000 Series ensures even light distribution with the non-yellowing prism glass lens. Plus, noisy air turbulence is absorbed by the specially designed 4-in. duct transition and high-density acoustical insulation. Other built-in features include a 4-watt night-light and a humidity sensor model, which automatically detects humidity and turns on the fan.
The 8000 Series can be easily installed and serviced. The model includes four adjustable mounting bars for placement anywhere between 16- and 24-in. on-center ceiling joists. The 8000 Series is cULus Listed for use in insulated ceilings and over tubs or showers, in addition to being HVI 2100 certified. Standard offering includes high-duty galvanized construction; double-inlet blower; 12-in. square styrene grille; and a 5-year warranty. The 8000 Series is also available without the lighting feature.
