Barrier Plastics Announces Launch of Five Baritainer® Product Lines

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA - Barrier Plastics, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of five new styles of its Baritainer® bottles, featuring a variety of sizes, and all incorporating the patent pending Quoral® Barrier Resin protection.

The largest of the Baritainer® new product release is the F-style bottle line. These Baritainers®, resembling the traditional antifreeze bottles, are comprised of HDPE and Quoral® barrier resin that safely secures the aggressive chemicals contained within. Customers will no longer have to worry about weight loss nor shelf life nor a degraded plastic bottle. And, since the bottles do not require fluorination, customers won't need a secondary treatment process saving on transportation costs and reducing carbon emissions.

"We're protecting the contents of the bottle from permeating so the customer gets what they paid for," said Kevin Callahan, Barrier Plastics' vice-president of Business Development. "And, since these bottles no longer require fluorination, customers do not have the hassle of managing the logistics to get this treatment done. This elimination of the 'hassle factor' reduces cost and improves sustainability by minimizing their carbon emission footprint and eliminating the use of a very toxic gas."

The F-style Baritainer® is available in quart, .5 gallon, 1 gallon and 2.5 gallon sizes. And, there is a D-slant handle design available in the 5 liter size.

Another new offering is the Bell Round Style Baritainer®, offered in .5 gallon and 1 gallon sizes, that resembles the traditional industrial jug design. And Barrier Plastics is releasing their Spray Carafe line that come in the 16oz and 32oz sizes.

Barrier Plastics is also offering a Cylinder Round Baritainer® in the 8oz, 16oz and 32 oz sizes. Additionally, the company is considering launching other small bottle styles and sizes as customer demand dictates.

Barrier Plastics, a four-year-old company, is also ready to work with customers who have custom applications and need "one-off" designs; the development team is eager and willing to leverage the proprietary barrier technology in custom designs to customer specifications.
