"BossFlex"(tm) New system software that provides back up for barcode scanning in the assembly process is now available from Boss Automated Barcode Systems, Inc. of Milford, Michigan.

BossFlex software turns a Win/CE or Intermec handheld pocket PC into the most powerful and versatile barcode reader available anywhere. It can be configured to read any or all barcodes currently in popular use, including the 2D matrix system.

BossFlex provides a stand alone mobile application with no host required. The Boss printer does all the data handling. One scan does it all.

Typical BossFlex Systems come with an integrated barcode scanner, Boss thermal printer, Boss docking stations, battery chargers and PS 2 communication ports. Transactions are scanned, stored and printed using BossFlex Software on the handheld computer for an out of the box solution for back-up requirements.

Boss Systems are production proven in many highly automated automotive assembly plants where parts and sub assemblies pass through the process. Technical support services include: R/F site surveys, CE programming, installation, training, on-site service and supplies.
