BROCKTON, MA, August 24, 2007:

Barbour Plastics, Inc. announced today that it is proud to unveil three unique products to enhance their Marine Division's product line. These new products are exclusive to Barbour Plastics and will be introduced at October's IBEX Show in Miami.

Lumaguard(TM) is an illuminated rubrail system for greater visibility and style. Its patented design uses an electroluminescent wire within the body of the rubrail for added safety while still protecting the boat from impact.

Vertel(TM) is the new "green" alternative to traditional PVC extrusions. Compounded from post industrial and post consumer thermoplastic materials, Vertel(TM) creates a highly durable and lightweight "green" alternative.

Silverline is Barbour's new line of marine products that looks like high end metal, but is exceptionally durable polymer available in both flexible and rigid profiles.

"Barbour Plastics is leading the way with unique innovative products for the Marine Industry" commented Richard Hynes, President of Barbour Plastics. "Barbour was already the rubrail specialist, with the largest selection available anywhere. Our customers want new and exciting products, and Barbour Plastics is well positioned to respond to those needs."

Barbour Plastics, Inc. carries the most extensive assortment of extruded polymer products for the marine and boat building industry. Barbour's standard line of extruded rubrails, trims, moldings and structural components are available in over 1200 profiles and many colors. Barbour Plastics has two manufacturing plants located in Brockton, Massachusetts and Atlanta, Georgia for over 80,000 square feet of production space to better serve their customers.
