The Leuze Lumiflex BCL 21/22 is a compact bar code reader that can meet the toughest industrial standards while still delivering accurate readings with a high degree of reliability. The BCL 21/22 reader delivers a wide range of functions normally found in much larger units. Minimal bar code widths of only 0.15 mm are reliably scanned with optimum depth of focus, and 0.8 mm wide codes can be read from distances of up to 450 mm. The BCL 21/22 can scan at a rate of 800-1000 scans per second while the AUTO-CONFIG mode eliminates the need for experience with codes. The BCL21/22 is designed to allow for either frontal (straight) or lateral (angled) scanning as well as letting the programmer format data, calculate statistics or compare codes with relative ease utilizing the uncomplicated input program.
