East Syracuse, NY - With today's ever-burgeoning cable TV spectrum, Microwave Filter Company, Inc. is pleased to offer the model 14972 bandstop filter. This filter provides superior deletion within the 72-76 MHz band used for pilot tones, QAM signals and other auxiliary services with minimal impact on both adjacent channels 4 and 5.

The 14972 offers passbands of 5-71.75 MHz and 77.25-1000 MHz, with a passband loss of 3 dB (approx) at the band edges. The stopband attenuation is 50 dB (min) between 73-76 MHz and 40 dB min between (72.75-76.25 MHz). Impedance is 75 ohms, with F-female connectors as a standard. The unit is mounted in a rack chassis (3.5" high).
