Bandstop Filter For KU-Band


East Syracuse, NY - The 14560 bandstop filter is part of a family of products manufactured by Microwave Filter Company specifically designed for Ku-band. This unit passes the satellite downlink signal from 10.95-12.75 GHz (which includes the KU passband of 11.7-12.2 GHz) with less than 0.1 dB of insertion loss. It also provides greater than 70 dB attenuation to the unwanted uplink signal from 14.0-14.5 GHz. Return loss is greater than 20 dB across the entire downlink spectrum.

All specifications and construction methods are designed for minimal impact on system performance while providing the optimal operating electrical parameters.

The unit is lightweight aluminum with a military grade plating which permits the electrical characteristics to be maintained over a broad range of field operating and environmental conditions.
