Fitchburg, MA (October 21, 2002) - Popular even now with fabricators, production cutting houses and steel service centers, EPIC EHS2 (Extra Heavy Set) Bandsaw Blades from Simonds Industries Inc., have been further enhanced to increase cutting and operational efficiencies.
The newly redesigned EPIC EHS2 Bandsaw Blades are ideal for cutting H and I beams and incorporate stronger tooth tips to minimize vibration and wider kerfs to reduce blade pinching or stalling in the cut due to internal stresses. All EPIC EHS2 Bandsaw Blades are constructed with M42 Cobalt high-speed wire and are subjected to a proprietary heat-treating process to minimize tooth chipping to prolong blade life.
Available in 150' and 250' coils and welded-to-length configurations, the new EPIC EHS2 Bandsaw Blades come in a range of 1" to 2 5/8" blade widths and with 2-3, 3-4, 4-6 or 5-8 TPI.
