New All-Purpose Band Saw Introduced by DoALL
The new all-purpose Model C-1321DS band saw from DoALL is capable of angle cuts on all types of materials. It features a 3-hp blade motor with an AC inverter control that provides an infinitely adjustable band speed ranging from 50 fpm for sawing Inconel and other hard to cut alloys to 400 fpm for cutting structurals and other mild steels.
With a capacity as large as 13-in. high by 21-in. wide at 90 deg, it can cut large I-beams; and because it can make angle cuts from 45 deg right to 60° left, operators can make multiple angle cuts on heavy stock without having to stop and turn the workpiece. Operators are also aided by a remote control console that can be positioned in any nearby location for the most efficient manual or semi-automatic operation.
The DoALL Model C-1321DS uses a 1-in. blade with a mist lubricating coolant system and features a powered band brush to remove chips from the blade. The machine also has a pneumatically powered vise with variable vise pressure control that holds solids, structurals and tubing firmly in position while cutting.
Other standard features include a hydraulically powered saw head lift with fine adjustment feed control for faster cycle times and spring loaded saw guides that use solid carbide inserts. There are replaceable steel wear plates on the saw bed.
