Balver Zinn Grants Sublicenses to Stannol GmbH, Wuppertal and Felder GmbH

Balver Zinn today announced that it has granted sublicenses to Stannol GmbH, Wuppertal and Felder GmbH, Oberhausen for the popular SN100C® alloy patented by Nihon Superior Co. Ltd. for manufacturing in Germany and sales globally with the exception of UK and Ireland.

President Tetsuro Nishimura of Nihon Superior Co. Ltd. stated, "With granting Balver Zinn the right of sublicensing the SN100C patent, we think we can accentuate the market success of the SN100C® alloy."

President Josef Jost of BALVER ZINN stated, "With granting the sublicense to Stannol GmbH and Felder GmbH, we feel the progress for the most popular SN100C® alloy in the electronics industry and can have successful market development with both mid-standing companies. With Stannol and Felder we found good partners to provide a quality SN100C® supply as it was given from Balver Zinn, DKL Metals and Nihon Superior Co. Ltd. for more than 10 years here in Europe."

Sublicensing is an important step to ensuring the known quality of SN100C®. Not every producer can guarantee a process that is constant and clean. To ensure the right microstructure of the alloy SN100C® for solder wires, bars and long-term solder bath stability, there are several necessary process steps.

Balver Zinn and Cobar offer solder bar, solder wire, solder flux, gel flux, cleaner and solder paste. For more information about the company's complete range of solder materials, visit www.balverzinn.com or www.cobar.com.
