Advance Enhances SmartMate® Family of Ballasts for CFL Lamps With New Models To Support PL-H Lamp Technology

Enhancing its exclusive line of SmartMate® ballasts for compact fluorescent lamps, Advance Transformer Company announces the availability of a new ballast to support PL-H (high wattage CFL) lamp technology.
Advance's new "SmartMate for PL-H" ballasts support Philips Lighting Company's exclusive new family of PL-H(TM) high-wattage compact fluorescent lamps, which offer the benefits of long life (up to 20,000 hours), high lumen maintenance (86% at 5,000 hours), and amalgam technology. Hailed as a breakthrough in high lumen output and the 2003 winner of LightFair's prestigious "Energy Award" and Best of Category Award for "Systems," PL-H is ideal for retail, industrial, and outdoor settings and is particularly suitable for high bay applications. One PL-H ballast from Advance operates either one or two 60 Watt PL-H lamps, one 85 Watt PL-H lamp, or one 120 Watt PL-H lamp.
