Advance Introduces F-Can Ballasts With Xtenza® Wide-Range Ignitor Feature for Low Wattage Metal Halide Applications
(March 25th, 2004 - Rosemont, Illinois) In a continuous effort to revolutionize low wattage metal halide technology and broaden its application, Advance Transformer announces the availability of F-Can ballasts now containing the company's Xtenza® wide-range ignitor, an exclusive feature which fully support applications involving up to 50 feet of remote, ballast-to-lamp mounting distance.
The low wattage metal halide F-Can ballasts with Xtenza are ideal for indirect lighting and other remote-mount applications, are available in 70 Watt, 100 Watt, and 150 Watt single-ended lamp applications, and are the same size as standard F-Can models. Like other Advance F-Cans, the ballasts feature 120/277v or 120/347v, 60hz dual-voltage input and auto-reset thermal protection for both voltage taps.
