Series 509 Solder End Ball Valves are designed to be soft soldered into ASTM B88 copper lines without disassembly or disturbing seats and seals. Working temperature is 100 to 250°F with maximum working pressure up to 400 psi, depending on valve size and joining material (either 50-50 tin-lead solder or 95-5 tin-antimony solder). All valves have forged brass body, PTFE seats and seals, blow-out proof stem, chrome plated brass ball, and ¼ turn shutoff.

Parker Solder End Ball Valves Available in 1/2" Through 2" Sizes


The Brass Products Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation offers its Series 509 Solder End Ball Valves in a range of sizes from 1/2" through 2". The valves are designed to be soft
soldered into ASTM B88 copper lines without disassembly or disturbing the seats and seals in any way. The valves have range of working temperatures from 100° to 250° F (150° F in
saturated steam service) and a range of maximum working pressures up 400 PSI, depending on valve size and joining material -- either 50-50 tin-lead solder or 95-5 tin-antimony solder.

All valves feature a forged brass body with optimum flow design for maximum efficiency. Additional features include highly inert PTFE seats and seals, blow-out proof stem, chrome plated brass ball and specially designed handle enabling increased turning leverage for easy quarter-turn shutoff.
