Marwin Valve Introduces New MS3K Series
Cincinnati, OH USA - Marwin Valve introduces its MS3K Series. designed specifically for high-temperature applications. The MS3K is available in standard stainless and carbon steel as well as optional alloy materials such as Hastelloy B & C, Monel, Alloy 20, and Titanium.
The MS3K Series valve comes standard with Marwinite (carbon) seats which is a specific blend of carbon and nickel that may be used in a wide temperature range, but is specifically designed for higher temperatures beyond normal resilient seat materials. The Marwinite material may be used in temperatures as high as 1000°F in most services; and works well in clean liquids with some lubricating properties. The Marwinite seats are suitable for clean, wet saturated or superheated steam.
The MS3K Series is also available with optional Mar-Wear (metal) seats which are 316SS base seat and ball metals supplied in standard Class IV shutoff. The Mar-Wear seats are supplied in standard Class IV shutoff with optional Class VI shutoff seats.
The MS3K Series is both durable and reliable and provides continuous operation with little maintenance. The larger diameter stem transmits more torque for handling slurries and viscous fluids. The solid, highly spherical 316 ball provides durability in severe applications while maintaining a smooth, low turbulence flow. The Recessed seats in the machined body cavities greatly resist erosive or abrasive flow conditions.
The MS3K Series is available in sizes 1/4" through 2" and can handle temperatures up to 1000°F; pressure up to 750 psi.
