NEW PRODUCT FOR MOVING CARGO AND EQUIPMENT:
New heavy-duty ball transfer units available from SKF® Linear Motion & Precision Technologies can be accessed easily for thorough cleaning or to replace internal ball components. Their cost-effective "rework" capability can extend product and service life and promote optimized performance over time in the most demanding applications.
These ball transfer units ("Heavy Duty 806") serve ideally in air cargo handling system or can be mounted on warehouse floors and other surfaces to enable easy and effective movement of cargo and equipment. They represent durable and rugged alternatives to wheel casters.
Noteworthy features include solid steel machined housings and robust tops for maximum protection against impact damage; a self-cleaning slotted exit hole to filter large debris particles from units for maximum efficiency and smooth running; and an especially low-profile offering high-load capacity. Units incorporate 30mm load balls with load ratings up to 771 lbs. per unit.
