Ball Rail System features precision steel rails.

Press Release Summary:

Suited for light-duty machines, eLINE Ball Rail® System combines aluminum design with ball raceways made of roller bearing steel, providing corrosion resistance and equal load capacities in all 4 directions. System can handle minor mounting surface deviations, evening out roughness or small parallelism discrepancies between rails. It is available in sizes 15, 20, and 25 with single piece rail lengths up to 2,000 mm.

New Ball Rail® System with Precision Steel Rails

The new eLINE from Bosch Rexroth arrives in April, 2005.

Visit Bosch Rexroth Corporation, Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies at the National Design Engineering Show and Conference, March 7-10, 2005, at the McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, Booth #2016.

CHARLOTTE, NC - For simpler handling and assembly tasks, as well as light-duty machines, Bosch Rexroth now offers a new cost-effective rail solution that can handle heavier payloads. The new eLINE Ball Rail® System brings proven Rexroth Ball Rail quality to applications for which high-performance linear guides were previously not an option. The eLINE will be available in the United States in April 2005.

The key to the eLINE's cost-effective approach to high performance motion is its aluminum design, coupled with ball raceways made with roller bearing steel. This combination allows for low weight, high corrosion resistance, a compact design and equal load capacities in all four directions.

Another benefit of the flexible aluminum alloy is that the new eLINE Ball Rail® System can easily handle minor mounting surface deviations-evening out roughness or small parallelism discrepancies between rails. This means substantial savings in time and money during preparation of the machine base and assembly of the overall system.

The new eLINE Ball Rail® System is available in sizes 15, 20 and 25 with single piece rail lengths up to 2000mm. Users can also choose between accuracy classes N and E, with or without pre-load. With the new eLINE Ball Rail® System, Bosch Rexroth can provide all new options to industries such as home construction (sliding windows and doors), high-quality furniture, trade show exhibits, automotive convenience features and warehousing and handling applications.
