New Planetary Ball Mills Take Ball Milling to a New Level

On the occasion of Achema 2003, Retsch will introduce their new bench-top planetary ball mills. The model PM 100, a single-station unit, handles grinding jars from 50 - 500 ml; the
dual-station PM 200 will accept jars up to 125 ml. Grind sizes are typically down to 1 micron and less. Both mills feature an extremely powerful drive with speeds up to 650 rpm that allows
for continuous operation without cooling down times; the patented 'easysafe' clamp; balance control; convenient operation display for parameter setting and control which offers additional
information on drive work load, energy input, and service issues; memory for 10 parameters combinations and delayed start; motor driven lock of the cover. Suitable for Retsch's dust-tight,
convenient EZ-use grinding jars. Retsch's new power twins will be available this fall.
