Ball Bearings suit ANSI standard centrifugal pumps.

Press Release Summary:

Series 5200C and 5300C double-row, angular contact ball bearings are made from bearing steel with low oxygen content. Rings are cold rolled blanks, heat-treated to provide dimensional stability up to 300°F. Bearings are engineered to ABEC-3 (P6) tolerances to reduce runout, allowing smooth operation at high speeds. They feature 1-piece, heat-treated, pressed-steel crown cages and inwardly diverging 30º contact angles, which resist misalignment.

MRC® Double-Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings Designed for Reliability and Long Life

MRC® double-row angular contact ball bearings from MRC Bearing Services are ideal for use as primary thrust bearings in ANSI standard centrifugal pumps or in any other application where positioning of the shaft is important and the ability to support substantial radial and axial load is necessary. Their materials and design promote reliable performance and long service life in the most demanding industry applications.

The newest generation of these MRC double-row bearings (5200C and 5300C Series) is manufactured from extremely high-quality bearing steel with very low oxygen content. Rings are manufactured from cold rolled blanks and both rings are heat-treated to provide dimensional stability up to 300ºF (150ºC).

These factors enable the bearings to function consistently over a wide range of temperatures and operating conditions.
These double-row bearings are engineered to ABEC-3 (P6) precision tolerances to reduce runout, thereby reducing vibration and allowing smoother operation at high speeds. One-piece heat-treated pressed-steel crown cages feature redesigned ball pockets for improved ball guidance and decreased cage friction.

The bearings offer users multiple sealing options able to withstand the harshest contaminated environments. Inwardly diverging 30º contact angles provide greater rigidity and increased resistance to misalignment.

A variety of types and sizes are available within the bearing series. MRC further can develop made-to-order (MTO) warranted products through a dedicated MTO program established to meet customized application demands.
