Columbia/Okura End Effector Offers On-the-Fly Handling of Three Bag Lines

Columbia/Okura's adjusting bag end effector provides the ability to palletize multiple bag types and sizes from up to three production lines simultaneously.

When attached to a Columbia/Okura robotic palletizer, this unique tooling design gives the end user the ability to add new bag sizes or types, as their production or marketing needs change. Through the use of multi-position cylinders, its proven design saves valuable production time, allowing "on the fly" adjustments for a wide range of bag sizes without stopping for re-tooling. Combined with the robot's clean-design construction, this bag palletizing solution is ideal for multi-line applications with product flexibility, and is more reliable than vacuum style tooling.

Columbia/Okura LLC is jointly owned by Columbia Machine and Japan's Okura Yusoki, two companies with over 100 years of combined material-handling experience. Customer service and parts support is located in the USA.
