Back Pressure Regulators Now Available for Extreme Conditions
Equilibar manufactures Back Pressure Regulators for a wide range of applications. The GS series precision back pressure regulators are now available for use in low temperature applications with harsh chemistries.
The rugged design allows for the unit to be used outdoors in extreme conditions as well. By carefully selecting the diaphragm material and the o-ring elastomers, many different temperature and chemical compatibilities are possible.
The GS series utilizes a multiple orifice design that allows the flow capacity to instantly increase by sequentially bringing additional orifices on line. Low flow performance is enhanced as the unnecessary orifices are automatically removed from the control circuit.
The GS series is easily maintained and can be rebuilt with simple hand tools in a matter of minutes. The application shown in the photograph is a for testing a liquid fuel system at extreme cold temperatures to represent winter service conditions. The GS series is used to precisely hold the fuel pressure at the desired value regardless of changes or surges in the system.
