Among 448 participating companies and 1,155 competing products, the tBOX323-835-FL has been awarded for its innovative and seamless design. The Taiwan Excellence Awards is delivered by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) which is based on five different criteria: RD, design, quality, marketing, and “Made in Taiwan”. The award is a proof to Axiomtek’s excellence in product quality, service, marketing and brand awareness, and also has demonstrated its technical achievement in embedded system research.
By adopting onboard quad-core Intel® Atom™ E3845 processor and 4 GB low-powered DDR3L memory, the railway box computer, tBOX323-835-FL, delivers highly computing performance and specializes its I/O design with five isolated COM ports, two M12-type LAN connectors, USB 2.0 ports, and one isolated digital I/O. The railway fanless PC also provides VGA and HDMI outputs for in-train surveillance. The Intel® Atom™-based (Bay Trail platform) embedded computer certified with EN50155 and EN50121 for rolling stock and complied with EN45545-2 for fire resistance is specially designed for railway related applications including railway multi-functions gateway, controller, digital signage management and surveillance. The rugged system is designed to operate in a wide operating temperature range of -40ºC to 70ºC (EN50155 Class TX) and in a high vibration environment.
Application-ready Solution Certified with Railway Standard
The solution-ready all-in-one fanless embedded platform is certified with the EN50155 and EN50121 for rolling stock, complied with the fire protection of railway vehicles Europe standard PrCEN TS 45545-2. Moreover, it also passed power interruption for power stability.
Enhanced Vibration Shock Resistance
Axiomtek tBOX323-835-FL adopts an onboard processor and onboard DRAM which greatly reduces the impact of vibration and shock ideally for railway application fields. Considering the system reliability and high performance cabling design, the reserved M12 LAN connectors and other lockable or screw I/Os also can keep all cables tightly secured.
Isolated Port Design
To prevent ESD and over-voltage, this compact-size railway embedded PC is equipped with five isolated RS-232/422/485 ports and one isolated digital I/O connector for offering excellent power protection.
Great Expansion Capability
For greater expansion capability, there are total three internal PCI Express Mini Card slots including one supporting mSATA storage function. Two SIM sockets are also available for 2G/3G/4G, GPS, WI-FI and Bluetooth applications.
