Axial Piston Pumps feature max pressure of 3,500 psi.

Press Release Summary:

Available in 3 frame sizes with 7 capacity ranges, open-loop Series PVWW is specifically designed for applications that involve low viscosity or high water content fluids. Pumps can also operate with standard petroleum or petroleum-based fluids. Units provide resistance to contamination through hardened cylinder surface running on hardened valve plate. With operation up to 1,800 rpm, pumps offer theoretical maximum displacements from 0.86-7.94 in.³/rev.

Original Press Release:

Oilgear's PVWW Pumps Deliver Advanced Results With Low Viscosity and Water Content Fluids

(July 26, 2006; Milwaukee, Wisconsin) - The Oilgear Company's PVWW low horsepower, open-loop axial piston pump is specifically designed for high performance applications that involve low viscosity special fluids or high water content fluids. Available in three frame sizes with seven capacity ranges, the PVWW allows users to economically tailor the capacity and operation to fit their designs.

In addition to being able to run with low viscosity and high water content fluids, the environmentally friendly PVWW pump can also operate with standard petroleum or petroleum based fluids, adding to their usage flexibility. Featuring Oilgear's time tested "hard-on-hard'" rotating group, the PVWW pump provides a greater resistance to contamination and longer life through the hardened cylinder surface running on a hardened valve plate. This rotating group also contributes to the pump's ability to run with water base, low viscosity or other special fluids.

With a large selection of controls, the pump allows for field interchangeability without disconnecting from drive or system piping. The cylinder mounted polymerous journal bearing provide infinite bearing life and permit a more compact design for the pump. Computer optimized and competitively priced, the PVWW pump combines quiet operation with high efficiency.

Other main features of the PVWW pump include:
o Rugged cylinder design
o Sealed front shaft bearings which allow for side loading
o Steel piston shoes on hardened surface
o SAE heavy duty shaft
o Thru-shaft availability
o Up to l800 rpm
o Maximum pressure of 3500 psi (241,4 bar)
o Theoretical maximum displacements ranging from 0.86 in³/rev (14,1 ml/rev) to 7.94
in³/rev (130,2 ml/rev)
