Avue Technologies Launches iAvue, New HR Program; Replaces Office of Personnel Management's USAJobs 'Employer Services'


WASHINGTON, -- Avue Technologies has announced the launch of iAvue(TM), a new human resources software solution that allows federal agencies complete management of job postings online.

iAvue will replace the USAJobs "Employer Services" function, which will be discontinued by the Office of Personnel Management on July 1, 2011.

"For a number of years we have been looking for the opportunity to bring the power of Avue to individual users whose agencies are not subscribers to Avue's enterprise human capital offering," says Linda E. Brooks Rix, co-CEO of Avue Technologies. "With OPM's termination of the USAJobs Employer Services access, we saw Avue's replacement of that functionality as a perfect starting point for this more individually targeted offering - iAvue.

"Over the next few months, we expect to build upon the initial iAvue offering to provide an entire range of Avue capabilities that otherwise would simply not be available to individuals."

iAvue is now available for job postings at www.avuecentral.com.

From iAvue, positions are posted to avuecentral.com and USAJobs, and users are able to electronically verify the posting, receive the job reference code, and manage updates to the posting.

iAvue offers better control and functionality over USAJobs' "Employer Services" product, including the ability for multiple staffing specialists to work a single vacancy; and real-time, on-screen live chats for assistance with an expert, a function called "Avue Dojo - Chat with a Sensei."

"We are excited that iAvue not only represents the opportunity to serve an entirely new set of customers," Rix says, "but also has given us the chance to design the system in a way that requires no training for the user, although we have added 'live chat' support to assist those who have questions."

A government purchase card is required to post jobs, with a base charge of $300-350 for each vacancy. Upgrade options will become available within the next 30 days. These upgrades will include applicant assessment tools and the ability to create a talent pool of applicants for evaluation.

Avue will waive the annual access fee for one year for all users who purchase iAvue before July 31, 2011.
