Avaya to Showcase the Business Possibilities Enabled by Intelligent Communications during VoiceCon San Francisco


Sponsors a VoiceCon Wi-Fi network to help attendees stay in touch while away from the office, offers loaner phones for free wireless phone calls

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Aug. 13 - Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, today announced that the company will use VoiceCon San Francisco to showcase the business possibilities enabled by unified communications and intelligent communications solutions.

Scheduled for August 20-23 at Moscone Convention Center, VoiceCon is a leading conference and exhibition for enterprise voice, IP telephony and convergence solutions. Avaya is a Diamond sponsor of the event, while the Avaya DeveloperConnection program for independent software developers is a Gold sponsor.

Avaya also is sponsoring the VoiceCon Wi-Fi network that will help attendees stay in touch via voice and email while away from the office. Using Avaya Wi-Fi phones available for loan, attendees will be able to make free outgoing calls and experience wireless LAN call quality. Avaya will feature its 3645 wireless phones for rugged applications, 3631 wireless phones for office use, and Nokia E61 phones with Avaya one-X Mobile for seamless communication across cellular and wireless LAN networks. The underlying VoiceCon Wi-Fi network infrastructure will be provided by Aruba Networks, a platinum member of the Avaya DeveloperConnection program.
