Sealed Air Corporation Introduces the Rapid Shooter(TM) Dispensing System
SADDLE BROOK, N.J. (May 24, 2002) - Rapid Shooter(TM) dispensing system, a highly efficient, automated material dispenser suited for any size packaging operation, is the latest innovation from Sealed Air Corporation, a leader in the development of protective packaging for more than 40 years.
The Rapid Shooter(TM) system is an ideal work cell material handling solution for dispensing and cutting all of Sealed Air's roll stock materials up to 24 inches wide, including AirCap® and Bubble Wrap® air cellular materials, Cell-Aire® and Quicksilver(TM) polyethylene foams and Kushion Kraft® paper products. The system also dispenses and cuts the full line of air cellular and polyethylene foam adhesive and cohesive products.
Using the Rapid Shooter(TM) system is quite simple - the operator merely sets the control dial, which can be timed for the desired sheet length. For example, one second is equal to a certain amount of roll stock material, depending on which material is being used. Once the control dial is set, the operator depresses the foot pedal and the system automatically dispenses and cuts the material.
The Rapid Shooter(TM) dispensing system cuts the roll stock to the specified length eliminating the need for the operator to measure. Because the Rapid Shooter(TM) system dispenses only the exact amount, it reduces the amount of materials wasted as compared to using perforated sheets that only can be dispensed in pre-determined increments.
An all-electric design, using a standard 110-volt outlet, means the Rapid Shooter(TM) dispensing system can function in most any environment with a minimal amount of set-up prior to operation.
