BI-TORQ Launches Paladin Automated Valve Series
BI-TORQ Valve Automation announces a new automated valve package to be used in fuel or chemical service. The Paladin series utilizes an API 607 fire safe certified ball valve with a CSA/UL electric actuator to optimize safety and reliability.
The valve portion is a full port ball valve with RTFE seats as standard seat material. PEEK or Delrin seats are available when dictated by chemical applications. Standard features include an anti-static device, blow-out proof stem, and live-loaded graphoil stem packing. Valves are offered in NPT or socket weld end connections and available 1/2" through 2" in either carbon or stainless steel.
The electric actuators utilized in the series are available in all common voltages as well as 3-phase power options. The NEMA4X actuators can be used in open/close, jogging, or modulating applications. The standout feature of the actuators is a RuggedBoard design that eliminates 90% of the internal wiring and connections; resulting in a 600% increase in reliability. Other features include a clutchless override for quick access and a high visibility indicator. A host of options are also available to fit the actuators to specific applications.
