Thermal Dynamics® Expands Auto-Cut® Line

St. Louis, MO (July 31, 2007) - Thermal Dynamics, a leading producer of plasma cutting systems, is pleased to announce the newest addition to their automated cutting family, the Auto-Cut® 300.

The Auto-Cut® 300, the largest, most powerful machine in the Auto-Cut line, is a conventional plasma cutting system designed for end users engaged in production cutting up to 1.25" with a maximum pierce and cut capacity of 1.5". Competitively priced, this system features a low cost of operation and is ideal for customers who do not require precision plasma cut quality. The unit is optimized for air plasma cutting of mild steel, but also offers a best-in-class cut quality on stainless steel and aluminum when used in conjunction with Thermal Dynamics' standard Water Mist Secondary (WMS(TM)) feature.

The Auto Cut® 300 is 100 amps more than the next closest machine in the line, piercing heavier thickness material. The extra 100 amps also allows for faster cut speeds on the thinner materials typically cut at 200 amps. All the features on the two machines are the same so it really comes down to power. More power means thicker or faster cuts.

The Auto-Cut® 300 also includes Thermadyne's Speedlok® technology that allows for quick install and precise lock cartridges for rapid process changes. Other prominent features include a low cost of operation and ownership, an exceptional cut quality and competitive pricing.
