Vernon Hills, IL - (January 12, 2007) Perfect for Contract Manufacturing and OEMs, the new TNW-3500R automated lathe from Fuji provides turning, drilling and milling operations - all in one machine. The FUJI TNW-3500R offers easy change over, ideal for high mix, high volume production.

Twin spindles, a gantry robot and a slant bed are among the features of the TNW-3500R. A live tool turret performs secondary operations; live tool motor power is 3/5 hp. For built-in automation, the TNW3500R features a FUJI gantry loader with a 22 lb. capacity and dual 10 tool turrets.

The TNW3500R's A2-6 spindle turns with a 15/20hp spindle motor and operates at a maximum of 4,200 rpm.

A work stocker (20 stations), chip conveyor and a set of turret holders are included as standard. For user-friendly operation, the TNW-3500R includes the new Fanuc 310i-A CNC Control. Not only is the TNW3500R easy to use, it's easy to set up - go from uncrating to production in no time.

Suitable for any application, this highly reliable monitor detects insert wear and breakage. No additional sensors are required. The monitor is conveniently programmable by touch screen. An optional Intelligent Load Monitor is available.

The recommended gantry robot work size of the TNW3500R is 190mm (7.5") x 105mm (4").
