The customer can then take the metal samples, clean them, weigh them, run them in the corrosion cycle, and remove them and clean them again before weighing a second time. This will determine the metal's mass loss rate.
Once the loss rate is determined, the customer will send the results to Auto Technology, who will take the data and analyze it compared to the results of other customers in the business and their results.
