Snap-on Shop Equipment Quartet Among Special Products for "Decade of Dedication" as Richard Childress Racing Partner
KENOSHA, Wis., Jan. 23, 2003 - Snap-on Tools Company today introduced four special edition models of auto shop equipment as part of its "Decade of Dedication" promotion, which celebrates ten seasons of partnering with Richard Childress Racing (RCR) and its NASCAR Winston Cup Series, Busch Series, and Truck Series teams.
The equipment, including an Abrasive Blast Cabinet, a Parts Washer, a Low-Profile Padded Creeper and a Padded Seat Creeper, all features distinctive colors and graphics commemorating Snap-on's 10-season association with RCR and its #29 car. A special Snap-on version of the car will run in "The Winston," NASCAR's annual all-star race.
The YA3625ARCR Abrasive Blast Cabinet offers a 135 CFM dust-collection system and fluorescent lighting to help the operator see what is being cleaned. A new two-inch wider door provides easier access to the 24 x 37.5 x 23.5-inch work area. All 14-gauge steel construction, 33 percent wider legs and six-inch wide panels connecting front and back legs combine to provide excellent strength and stability for the 5-1/2 foot-tall cabinet.
The PBD3222RCR Parts Washer is an electric/drum-mounted system featuring a "self-service" two-part filtration system that continuously cleans solvents, extending their useful life. The unit's mud bucket separates solids and particles down to five microns. The Parts Washer helps minimize waste and reduce EPA paperwork. Users can easily replace its disposable filters.
The JC23BRCR Low Profile Padded Creeper is clad in high-resolution graphic material for more brilliant graphic displays and enhanced wear-resistance. The unit's one-inch padded bed and two-inch padded headrest are contained in a 17 x 40-inch low-profile frame (two-inch ground clearance) that features six double ball bearing casters and an ergonomic drop-rail design for improved arm and shoulder mobility.
The JC24BRCR Padded Seat Creeper sports high-resolution graphic material on a 2.25-inch seat cushion, fastened to a rugged tubular steel frame that rides on four 2.5-inch diameter ball bearing casters. It includes an 11.25 x 12.5-inch tray and a 2.75 x 9.25 x 10-inch drawer.
Customers can find out more about the YA3625ARCR Abrasive Blast Cabinet, the PBD3222RCR Parts Washer, the JC23BRCR Low Profile Padded Creeper and the JC24BRCR Padded Seat Creeper by contacting their local Snap-on representative or calling 877-Snapon2.
