The Next Generation of Auto Darkening Filters from Jackson Products, Inc.


Jacksoni Products, Inc. announices the release of the NexGen EQC filter, featuring advanced user controls and function. The NexGen is the first and only auto-darkening filter on the market that uses both digital and analog controls with an advanced LCD display telling mode of operation, welding shade, and sensitivity adjustment. All of the controls are protected from the harsh work environment inside the helmet.

The new lens uses a four-sensor design to eliminate blocked sensors and has been developed to give steady filtering protection without flickering - even down to low welds of less than 5 amps. The NexGen allows the user to work in variable shade applications and to switch between weld, grind and cut operations.

The unit is 100% made in the U.S.A. and uses two inexpensive and easy-to-replace lithium batteries, giving an average of 800 working, hours of battery life. The versatile NexGen cartridge has also been designed to fit uniformly into most industry standard 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" helmets.
