CHESHIRE, CONN., April 26, 2004 - Edwards Signaling & Security Systems® has announced the new Genesis EG1 Series of horns and strobes, the smallest, most compact audible and visual emergency signaling devices in the world. About the size of a deck of playing cards, the ultra-slim Genesis signals are designed to blend in with any building environment. Available in neutral white or fire-alarm red, the devices feature horn, strobe, horn/strobe or electronic chime models.
Thanks to Edwards' breakthrough FullLight® technology, Genesis strobes do not require bulky specular reflectors and lenses. Instead, a patented mask-and-cavity design channels and conditions light to produce a powerful and highly controllable distribution pattern that ensures the entire coverage area receives consistent illumination from the strobe flash.
Genesis horns feature an iconographic symbol indicating the purpose of the device. This universal symbol is code-compliant and is easily recognized by all building occupants regardless of what language they speak. Genesis horns are self-synchronizing and UL Listed for use in both sleeping and non-sleeping areas
