IPL Material Handling, a leader in reusable plastic container innovation, has introduced its FlapNest 2717-12(TM) nestable container with innovative features that offer cost savings and improved efficiencies to retail and wholesale distribution environments. The FlapNest 2717-12 containers stack with lids flapped shut and nest with lids flapped open to combine product protection and security for efficient return shipping and storage. These containers decrease operating costs by reducing container breakage, storage and freight charges, risk of lost production time to due to injuries, content theft damage and more.

Building upon the original FlapNest container series, the FlapNest 2717-12 features plastic hinges to prevent on-the-job accidents and workman's compensation claims that commonly occur when working with wire hinges. It also offers a reinforced lid and wall collars that add extra protection and minimize damage to products inside the container. To ensure the safe and secure shipping of products, the FlapNest 2717-12 offers tie-wrap and clip compatibility and positive strapping locations in both directions.

The FlapNest 2717-12 provides users with a 5 - to - 1 nesting ratio to reduce return shipping and storage costs. A new ergonomic handle allows easy access to items when containers are nested. The FlapNest is also compatible with totes from other manufacturers.
