Atlantic Engineering Group Signs Contract to Deploy 3-GIS Live for Large FTTH (Fiber-to-The-Home) Network
Decatur, ALÂ – 3-GIS, a GIS software development company based in Decatur, Alabama has announced a contract with Atlantic Engineering Group. AEG is an engineering and construction firm located in the Greater Atlanta area and will use 3-GIS’ cloud based solution, 3-GIS Live, to design telecommunication networks throughout several major US cities.
Based out of Braselton, Georgia, AEG has been working in the engineering field for over 17 years. AEG specializes in competitive, fiber-based out-builds for many different companies in the telecommunication industry. AEG has grown significantly over the past few years, which has allowed them to tackle larger contracts and expand their services to larger audiences.
AEG was in need of a solution, which would allow them to engineer green field fiber to the home in an efficient and timely manner. 3-GIS Live allows AEG to do that, as well as expand upon an existing fiber network without having to implement their own GIS system. The 3-GIS Network Solutions will support all of the employees’ work at AEG, while providing an easy to manage software, which doesn’t create additional IT burdens. 3-GIS Live, being a fully cloud based system, will enable AEG to use the 3-GIS software securely from remote locations around the world, while also giving them the ability to collect real-time data while working in the field.
