Associated Global Systems Expands Residential Delivery Service to Every U.S. Zip Code
NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. --- Jan. 31, 2006 --- Associated Global Systems (AGS), has expanded its residential delivery service to now deliver products of any weight and size to any residential address in America.
This innovative service, AGS Home Delivery, is ideal for companies who sell and ship products directly to consumers, require a single carrier for transportation and final mile delivery and the flexibility to meet any residential customer's requirements. AGS Home Delivery offers four on site services including threshold or inside placement of products, unpacking and removal of debris and assembly either in the customer's home or in an AGS warehouse prior to delivery.
In addition, a return service is available for customers who wish to return products that can include disassembly, repacking and an economical return transportation back to the sender.
Also included is the industry's leading web portal for shipment tracking and inventory management, available through the AGS Customer Infonet. Companies can view current inventory levels, enter and track shipments with continuous status updates throughout the order lifecycle. End customers can also be kept advised of shipment status right from their home PC, through e-mail and a customizable tracking website.
Scott Richter, director of Quality Service for AGS, states that AGS Home Delivery is the most flexible in the country, with delivery times between Monday and Saturday and up to 9:00 p.m. Companies can also specify four levels of service time, overnight, two day, three day or deferred, from any origin in the United States.
