Asia Robotica Introduces Low Cost Fiber Laser Cutting with CNC System from Power Automation America

At Expopublicitas 2012 in Mexico City, Asia Robotica exhibited for the first time the new FL series fiber laser machine.

Presently the company markets Routers and Plasma Cutting machines in the price
sensitive Mexican market. In an effort to capture a share of the thin sheet metal cutting industry and staying within a tight budget, the suppliers were chosen carefully. It was decided that using a 400W Fiber Laser from SPI Lasers in combination with the Laser Control Package from Power Automation America was the most beneficial option.

The complete Power Automation Laser Control package includes:

· PA 8000 EL(TM) CNC Control with PA SDI-Bus(TM)

· PA SDI-Drive(TM) MI305 Fully Digital

· PA PAT(TM) AC Motors

· PA PWM Generator

Software functions from PA include:

· PA HMI(TM) customized interface

· Laser Power Control

· Distance Control

· Piercing

· Integrated SQL Database

· PA Compile-Cycles(TM)

Asia Robotica has chosen Power Automation's complete laser solution because of its
highly configurable and scalable features which allow the application of future upgrades without hardware changes. Currently available are the FL1330-400 and FL1530-400, both using a 400W Fiber Laser from SPI Lasers in Santa Clara California.
