ASAP Automation Helps Roche Diagnostics Improve Pack Rates by 30%

ASAP's latest case study showcases how Roche improved several key metrics in its distribution process by upgrading its Exacta WMS and WCS

Louisville, Ky. - ASAP Automation (www.asapauto.com) has issued a case study of its recent project with Roche Diagnostics, a global healthcare leader that offers tools to help healthcare providers detect and manage diseases. Roche turned to ASAP to upgrade its current warehouse management system and warehouse control system to enable process and material handling changes engineered as a result of a detailed analysis of its facility and growth plans.

ASAP Automation worked closely with the Roche team to upgrade the company's existing Exacta warehouse management system and warehouse control system delivering streamlined processes to their fulfillment operations. As a result, Roche improved pack rates by 30 percent, reduced warehouse operating costs and minimized product touches.

"Roche's fulfillment operations were facing new challenges, mainly due to increasing customer demand and the required flexibility to meet new operational goals," said Eric Cameron, Vice President of Sales at ASAP Automation. "Roche leveraged the modular design of ASAP's Exacta warehouse management and warehouse control system to allow for upgrades to the functionality rather than wholesale system redesign."

ASAP's case study demonstrates how the warehouse process works in tandem with the Exacta software to manage inventory, direct order routing and provide visibility to warehouse operators. The case study includes a video that features interviews with key Roche team members and a look at the warehouse's numerous improvements.

"We value our customers and enjoy helping them overcome challenges to succeed in their business," Cameron said.
