Asahi/America Announces Three ABS Product Approvals
Asahi/America, Inc., the leader in thermoplastic fluid flow technology, announces American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) product approvals for their Type-21 ball valves, Type-57 butterfly valves and Series 92 electric actuators.
The three Asahi/America product lines received product type approval for marine and offshore applications – non-essential systems including fresh water, potable, sea water, sanitary, drains, scuppers, vents, soundings and brine.
Asahi/America Type-21 ball valves are available in sizes 1/2" – 4”. Type-57 butterfly valves are offered in sizes 2” – 12”. Asahi/America’s Series 92 electric actuator is a motor type reversing, quarter-turn single phase unit.
