New PT100 AS-Interface Module Features Four Analog Inputs
TWINSBURG, OH - Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the PT100 temperature module with four analog inputs for PT100 RTDs (Resistance Temperature Device). These IP65-rated units are engineered for reliable operation in hazardous environments. They are field mountable with connection to the outputs established through PG cable glands and cage tension spring terminals.
Users may pre-address the module by plugging it onto the adapter of the hand-held programming device. Various bases are available for connection to the AS-Interface flat cable, or to the round cable. The bases also can be used as IP67-rated distributor boxes. These units also include a function display for bus and inputs and are compatible with the simple cable-piercing method available for flat cable.
