Aruba Products Expand Catalyst Telecom's Communication Portfolio to Include Toll-Quality Wireless LANs, Mesh Technology, and Secure Mobility Solutions
SUNNYVALE, CA and GREENVILLE, SC, July 18, 2007 - Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), a global leader in wireless LAN and secure mobility solutions, and Catalyst Telecom, a division of ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC), and a leading international distributor of converged communication solutions for the enterprise, today announced a strategic distribution agreement under which Catalyst Telecom will market and distribute Aruba's entire product line to its North American solution provider channel. The Aruba product line includes wireless LAN access points and controllers, wired and wireless security products, remote access solutions for mobile workers, wire-free Secure Enterprise Mesh products, Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) solutions, and network and policy management applications.
Aruba's user-centric networks are designed to securely and reliably deliver enterprise data, voice, and video applications to users wherever they work - in the office, at home, in a hotel, or on the road. Follow-me connectivity via Aruba's robust wireless LANs, as well as conventional LANs, WANs, and FMC carriers, enables users to access their enterprise applications from anywhere in the world.
